Uppal Patel graduated in 1998 from Guy’s Dental Hospital (UMDS) with University Distinctions and was proxime accessit to BDS University Gold Medal.

She spent seven years working in a general practice in North West London. She gained Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners, Royal College of Surgeons, England in 2000 and achieved Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons, England in 2001.

Uppal completed a 3 year full-time post-graduate Masters programme in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute, with Distinction, in 2005 and was also awarded the University College London Commemorative Prize in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics. She gained Membership in Restorative Dentistry (Prosthodontics), Royal College of Surgeons, England in 2006 and is now a registered specialist in Prosthodontics with the General Dental Council.

In addition to private practice, Uppal is a visiting clinical lecturer at UCL Eastman Dental Institute, involved in teaching in both the Restorative and Implant programmes offered.

She has worked alongside Rod McNeil since 2005.
